I knew someone that spent all of their money on figures, mostly lewd figures of OCs from Japanese artists, and one time I decided to calculate how much just a fraction of them were worth by looking at her mfc

And I had to stop when I got to 300,000 yen and that was just a fraction of their figure collection alone
The thing is I knew they didn't work a super high paying job either, and they were about ten years older than me and worked overtime every week

Really opened my eyes to my own spending habits and where I want to be in life by the time I reach her age and why I'm probably not going to build anymore bags past what I've already collected for
