Not that much of a horror story but still bad times

>Join uni anime club
>Mostly consists of undergrads
>30 something year old grad student in the club thinks he's fount of all knowledge because of his age
>Carpool with him one con
>End up on phone with mother and joke/interact with her as normal
>Short 2 min or so phone call just to see how everything went (this was before I got a smart phone)
>Grad student seriously lectures me on speaking to my own mother
>Tell him that that's how we normally are and he has no right to instigate
>He starts reprimanding me with more lectures about my mother
>Am tired and tell him to stop, but every time I try to say something he cuts me off or yells "EH" at me
>Seriously plead him to stop acting like a child about it and leave me alone about it
>2 hour ride with him doing this and me wanting out bc I'd rather walk back to uni
>Wouldn't let me
>Forced to sit there with him entire time

Later at another con:
>Me and one girl get stuck running the booth almost the entire con
>Planned a cosplay but didn't even get to really wear it that much
>It starts to get late and we get tired/sweaty, so we go back to our hotel room to rest
>Grad student bangs, yells and demands in
>Tries to lecture the girl (who was also the one to MAKE everything we sold) about leaving despite us trying to tell everyone we left and put up the booth
>Guy actual starts making THREATS to her. can't quite remember since it's been 7 years ago
>Still threats about the booth? C'mon...
>She ends up crying, seriously disturbed so she calls her bf
>Bf drives all the way to the con that night (2 hour drive) to pick her up, everyone's afraid a fight might break out
>Later at that con, a girl from tumblr (who was lesbian interested in me) walks up to the booth
>She wanted to meet me but she just stares, dead-eyed at me at the booth
>She keeps walking around to come and see me but says nothing except dead stare
>Entire con was shit anyway but those incidences made it worse
