Adding to other anons, do not over accessorise. Keep the colours simple, take inspiration from actual kimono colour combinations and incorporate accessories in those colours, don't stick ear cleaners or chopsticks in your damn hair, and don't use a too-busy print. Don't go for shorter skirts or too much poof. Keep it elegant. Pic related is a good example of how to add wa themes without going full retard.
