That's how I felt going to my very first con. Just once you get there, see all the wacky people running around, you will start to really enjoy yourself. Protip. Go to as many panels and events as you can, its the best way to meet new people and its how I met all my amazing con friends from all over the country. Give it a shot, it's definitely worth it.
