Pic related is what I think of when I hear OTT sweet. BABY frill monsters are pretty OTT, but like I said, they're kinda sweet-classic so it might get noobs confused?

Agreed 100%.
You can't complain about coordinates that fit the silhouette and do everything right, but happen to be fandom inspired, saying, "But they make the fashion into a costume!" when we have pic related. It's cute, but no one is going to believe you if you say that it's a fashion that thousands of people wear daily.
