I've had similar experience with people into CG, they're a lot more infantile and sperg out much like the Love Live fangirls do, usually you find that LL was their stepping stone and now they think they know everything. I definitely feel your pain.

On the plus side my best girl will never be tainted by snot nosed weebs and I have a chance of coming across as vaguely original when I decide to do 765 dances at events. I sometimes wish for more companions to make a solid group to blow the LLers out of the water but the likelihood of that is so slim.

This will be my first out of state convention. Also first time I will be attempting to cosplay at a convention. My costume is far from done but I'm confident I can finish. I think I will only go Saturday though, I always regret going all three days of a con.
