Dammit. I want to make clotted cream and cranberry-orange scones this weekend, and I can only find ultra-pasteurized heavy cream which won't work so well in the slow cooker.

I'm disappointed to find out that Whole Foods stopped carrying them a few years ago. I used to find bottled raw milk there. I can't be arsed to spend $6 on 6 oz of Devon cream.
I was hoping to use the buttermilk part in the future for pancakes. Ugh, I wish I didn't live in a flyover state.

I might share pics of my scones. Gonna have to make them since I have an old can of cranberry sauce & oranges were almost $5, holyshit

Naisu. Maybe make some pillows, table mats, or table runners? How many yards did you get?

>Have no car and have a broken elbow (can't bike) so can't get to Post Office by myself
>"Miss" packages I had to sign for (I was in my apartment at the time, I think they didn't even try to deliver)
>Ask for redelivery three times, never redelivered
>Husband comes home too late to drive to get them
>Ask mailman when I see him, he says "yeah, that happens"
>Thanks bud
>Dad takes me to post office one day he has off
>The packages aren't there
>Nearly in tears, life had been stressful lately thanks for work issues compounded by my broken (dominant) arm, was really looking forward to these
>Packages arrive that day
Turns out the guy who originally had them forgot them on his truck all week, but somehow the nice new mailman got the blame even though they tried to deliver on nice mailman's day off so it wasn't his fault at all. GJ USPS

Just last week:
>Waiting for a package, nothing important, just stupid stuff
>Stupid kinda expensive stuff
>Tracking updates, "delivered 8/11 at 2:09, signed for by H.M."
>No, I'm here, it was not delivered, WHO IS H.M.?
>Maybe a neighbor accidentally got it, they'll probably realize it and drop it off.
>Check in with apt office just in case, apt manager didn't sign for it, doesn't think I have an H.M. as a close neighbor
>Wait a couple days for it to be returned
>Put a note on the mailboxes, no response
>THANKS NEIGHBORS
I'm still trying to track it down and USPS is NO help of course, except… a couple days after I put the note up, the super nice mailman actually stopped by my apartment to ask me about it. He wasn't on the route that day, but he's trying to help me track it down from his end. Thanks, super nice mailman, you're so much better than most of your co-workers.

>Fuck genetics right?
I know that feel. Found my first gray hair when I was 28. I'm 30 now and I've found a couple more. I was hoping I wouldn't have to deal with this sort of thing for another few years.

D Walkure is being sold on fb. Just lost my job today. Bin starts at 500, but it'll go up from there for sure.
I'm really really bummed.

I'm getting kinda tired of my comm.
I'm tired of catering to all the younger girls who come to meets (IF they come) wearing jeans and t-shirts and that they say they'll go to meets, but most of the time drop out at last minutes. We have almost 100 members and only about 4 lolitas show up and it's always the same for including myself.
>Host ILD meet (first time hosting any meet)
>13 reserved spots/ say they're going
>2 show up
>feels bad man

I just want to make a 20, or 21+ comm for my region to get rid of these flaky kids and these kiddie meets, but I'm afraid it'll just create drama.

>tfw blouses finally arrives in the mail after waiting for a month

>sleeves too short
>collar feels a tad tight
>unfinished/loose threads
>one of the botton holes weren't cut through
>second button gapes
>lazy looking "pin tucks"

Oh well. It's what I get for buying from an unknown taobao brand via ebay. I half expected this much seeing how cheaply I spent on them. I guess it's a good thing I wear jsks so I can hide most of the flaws. I'm just glad they've arrived before I have to move out this week.

I was about to purchase some shoes and once I hit confirm, I got an error page. Paypal's customer service is closed for the weekend.

Is anyone else having this problem?
