I live in Minnesota and go to every con here including anime detour...

cosplays like:

>yoko littner
>black cat
>panty or stocking stripper ver. or school ver (never any other ver.)
>super girl

these seem very over done at other cons but never ones in MN. Seriously, there is usually only one of each but they are all very lazy looking and terribly made, and 99% are tubby girls.

over done cosplays at Detour are
>mlp
>purchased pokemon onesie (99% pikachu)
>shitty rave outfit

the rave outfits are the WORST, and its always a belly shirt and always with booty shorts and its always FAT

Im not jealous, its just rave outfits dont really fit detour and id much rather see a nice fit Yoko cosplayer than a fit girl in a rave costume, neither will never happen though
