Looking over most of the archived threads in that post some of them are from last year or look like they were made by people who deleted them after being attacked by /cgl/ for being fat or casual/newbies. I can agree that there a couple that were legit cosplay threads but overall it's not a good example of OH GOD JANITORS/MODS ARE RETARDS AND DELETE EVERYTHING, IT'S THE END OF /CGL/ HELP US MOOT
