/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

Hey cgl, advice please.
I commissioned a cosplay for Anime Boston way back in January. My commissioner sort of fell off the face of the earth after getting my deposit and measurements, but replied after I filed a claim that she couldn't get into her old e-mail. OK, I think, she says she'll have it done by AB.
AB around the corner, no photos, nothing. She says she's sick. OK. I understand. I tell her I want photos of what she has, and I have another con in July to wear it to.
July comes. Nothing. No pics. Not a thing. She says "be patient", I'm already months past the con and can't file a claim at all.
She hasn't replied to my last email, which was basically "just give me a refund or send what you have", except to say she'd give me a (tiny) discount.
What do I do? My instinct is to post everywhere I find her to tell people she's a scammer, because I'm pretty clearly not getting shit from her, but I'm worried this is heartless of me.

I'm pretty sure it would have been cheaper to make the cosplay than buy a new (as opposed to used) system and a new game. They already had the wig and everything too.

It's their decision, but I bet they're going to keep whining about not having a cosplay all weekend, when everyone else does and they were supposed to cosplay with us. ugh
