I'm the same anon from >>8326297 and >>8325622 - Epiduo (prescription topical ointment) worked well, if you're able to get a prescription (afaik, it's not particularly dangerous or hormonal, so you might be able to just mention it to a doctor and they can write you one).

Now I use
>AM: The Body Shop tea tree face wash
>PM: Cetaphil face wash, tea tree oil spot treatment
The important thing about acne face washes (that I didn't realise for a while) is that you have to leave them on for a while! In the AM when I'm showering, I'll put on the tea tree face wash and then soap myself up and rinse my face off last, and in the PM, I'll apply the Cetaphil and leave it on while I'm brushing my teeth and flossing. It also helps if you spend a minute or two just massaging the wash into your face (and it feels nice!).
