I'm going to need some help. I want to be cosplaying something in the style of pic related; a Japanese Sohei warrior monk.

What would I need to pull this off? It seems like I'm missing something.

I'm not exactly sure what I all need to pull this off. I have trouble visualizing things, and I've ground to a bit of a halt in my search.
