So, this situation is growing out and I can't decide if I just want to make it...cuter and just fix it up at a medium length, or go shorter again.

I'm hoping to find something relatively low maintenance and go in Wednesday for a cut and I'd appreciate any suggestions!

I did layers when my hair was really long, and while my face isn't square, I think it's really flattering, depending on where your layers hit. Go to the mirror and look at your face from different angles, playing around with what your hair covers. You can ask for your layers to be around an area you think looks good.

What color is your hair? I always find thin hair that's got highlights or some kind of color depth to it always looks better with cuts like these, and black hair ends up looking like a solid void. That's personal experience, though.
