I'm going to BABYMETAL's show in L.A. in July & I was thinking about dressing up in their Megitsune outfits (pic & video related https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cK3NMZAUKGw)), but I don't have the main kimono part (I can get the shoes, the blouse & the tutu on my own). So, these are my questions:

>How would one go about making the kimono part?
From what I can tell, it's more or less, a regular kimono just with the lower half of the front (below the obi) cut off so that the tutu can show. Would I just find a regular kimono/yukata sewing tutorial online & follow that, then slice off the appropriate part?

>If I can't make it on my own, is two & a half months enough time to get it commissioned?
I understand that these sort of things can't be rushed, so that why I'm asking now rather than later.
inb4 why didn't you think of this sooner? I just thought of it last week & I've been trying to budget what money I have for the show (i.e. gas, food, merch).
