Oh my fucking god, this.
People always seem to say that it's possible to infiltrate (god, that sounds bad) an established friend group...but like, how the fuck do even do that without being awkward as fuck.

I personally like going to cons solo because it means that I have true freedom to do whatever I want at my own pace. I will admit, though, seeing people clustered in little groups, especially during the chill evening times...kinda makes me want to eat a bullet. I'm going to a con soon and I'm gonna try my hardest to avoid this feel. Wish me luck and strength.

>I am wondering if there's any way I can get Yuu Asakawa's autograph just by ghosting.

Unless you're really damn good at ninjaing your way into events without anyone noticing, I kinda doubt it. Used to be that if you didn't have a badge, you could still just kinda wander around as long you didn't try to enter the dealers room or any panels. Now, they're instituting a new policy where you must have a badge to go anywhere past entrance/registration.

And I hate to be a moralfag, but honestly, though? Attendance for Kami is at like 5,000 I think, still a bit on the small side for a con; it's not like AWA or some shit. Ghosting might actually be detrimental to the con and is kind of a shitty thing to do.

I think cons are shit for me now because I've matured. I used to rarely ever go to panels and just sit and chat to people, and being 13-14 it was easy to make friends. I overlooked people's cringiness and people overlooked my age, because we were all immature.

However, now I feel really awkward at cons. The other day at Dublin Comic Con, a guy threw a Pokeball at me to try and "catch" me- when I was younger I would have laughed and chatted to him, but all I could feel was cringe and repulsion. Maybe I'm just becoming a bitch.
