Having lived in Japan, I think I need to say that cos-play is really a western fad now. Dressing up in costumes is something they do to get you to walk into a shitty porn store the same way we have people with signs near traffic.

Why is it so important for people to try to be someone else even to the point of going into debt? Can’t you just focus all that energy, time, and effort on improving your own life not just making it seem like yore someone you wish you were?
