>Ask him what his favourite Angel was from Evangelion
>"....I've never watched it"
>He's dressing as a character from a series he's never watched, starts asking me how to act
>Just tell him to watch the damn series just to get a basic idea
>He turns up at con, slinking round with a World's greatest dad mug running up to random people shouting "I'm gendo, baby!" Like the Joker from batman

Sometimes I miss my friends, but stories like this make me not regret having split off from them.
