I'm one of those shitbags who wants to live directly downtown in a major city (despite being a Trump voter, I just really love big cities man). My job also isn't rural-friendly, typically I work in those skyscrapers as a cubicle slave. So those locations won't work... Plus Midwest weather would kill me. Thank you for the offer and advice though, really. Craigslist isn't awful, I've gotten several housing arrangements off there and didn't even get raped yet. Just don't trust anyone who says they're a "single mom" or seems like a drug user and you'll be alright.
Or idk maybe the kids have a more trendy website now for roommates.
