Haven't they been going since about 1997? Some of their old stuff that pops up on auctions looks a bit frumpy/normie sometimes, would be interesting to see what the lookbooks were like awhile ago. (Pic somewhat related? That couldn't have been too long ago but still, I legitimately do not understand what they were going for)

That goes all the way back to what 'staples' in larme are exactly. I'd definitely buy more higher end (so to speak...) stuff if the second hand market wasn't so slow, just in case I get stuck with a 15,000 yen skirt I can't shift

Milk is pretty expensive and isn't featured in the magazine *that* often. I guess the fact that their style straddles so many different fashions at the same time comes into play too.
