I know that posing with the hands facing upwards allows gravity to pull down some of the blood and make them less obvious. It sort of works for me.

As for the bow, if the clip on the hairpin is too big to securely clamp onto the wig base, you can use a small bit of wire (like those thin ones used for flower arrangement and gardening) to weave into the wig to give a spring shaped "holder" for the clip to attach to. I did it for my Yukari to hold up her massive amounts of hair and head ornaments and it worked ok

selfpost covers both what i said about posing and the hair stuff. The wig held up fine for the whole con despite it actually being two wigs sewn together so I can vouch for the wire method
