This actually happened to me a few years ago and our friendship lasted only a year. All throughout middle and high school, I had terrible anxiety/paranoia issues which caused me to skip classes and school frequently. I was put in a new program that kept students who couldn't "handle mainstream schooling". It was four guys with anger issues and one girl who had the same issues I did. I never met someone like this and we became friends. I grew up with friends, but I never had one I could relate to so well. It was new and exciting for me. We'd walk to her house everyday after school and talk. Our family situations were near identical and we only grew closer. Her family welcomed me with open arms and treated me like a second daughter. One night I stayed at her house and this is when I should have ended the friendship
