My boyfriend got me L481 in pink as a gift and I have no clue how to coord it. It'll be my first lolita and I'm scared I'll fuck up.

I really want this but I'm not even a lolita and I'm not even sure how or when or where I'd wear it.

Didn't stop me from saving this picture to my computer to wistfully gaze at it.

Could I make a request? I'm um, new to lolita, I've watched the fashion for years now but never had the money or commitment. I think I'd like to causally own a dress or two, just to indulge the part of me that's always wanted. In Japan last spring I found, and adored, this dress from bodyline. I think I want it in red. Would anyone have any coord suggestions/inspiration for a noob like me?

I'd love Bodyline's L481 in pink or green, but the smallest size they have is a Medium, and both the bust and waist measurements seem like they'd be too big.

I've never bought bodyline before and I'm not sure how easy it'd be to alter the dress. Do they restock on sizes pretty often or are some dresses only available in larger sizes (it doesn't say they're sold out of smalls, it just shows that they offer M and 2L)
