in Drachenfest the Landsknecht camp is kind of a pike squares. Well not with pikes, only short pikes and various other polearms as real pikes are start at 3 meters and go upward from that. Secondly they have only enough people for a "few" rotte nowehere near enough for a proper army of 4000 men strong. Although they MIGHT have enough for one company but probably not.

But in smaller battles and sieges they rather operate as half-independent rottes
