Sounds like social anxiety to me. Like she really wants to show up and join the group but chickens out at the last moment. I used to do that when I was younger (now I just don't RSVP at all ._.)
Obviously I don't know her though so I could be totally wrong and she's dying/secretly hates all of you.

This is probably really dumb of me, but I don't understand how Lush stores work. In the one I visited everything was displayed out of its packaging, and it looked more like a fancy bakery than a cosmetics store. I get that a big selling point is that these products don't need preservatives, but how do I go about buying anything? Do I ask an employee to cut off a slice and put it in a container? I have really bad social anxiety and the store tends to be very crowded, so I didn't dare ask anyone for help. I ended up just buying a bottle of Tea Tree Water because it was one of the only pre-packaged products I could see. I'd really like to try scrubs and stuff, though. Help?
