Thanks so much for the advice guys, it's starting to feel pretty /p/ in here and I like it a lot (especially because /p/ thinks cosplay is a joke).

Thanks so much for putting time into an example, it really is a big change with a bit of exposure and balancing. I ussually see how it looks with natural white bal and like how it stands out from the set, but i'm seeing how that creates problems.

Do you guys feel there's ever a merit in having a less than perfect white balance?
