This just happened to me today:
>local fabric store is having sale on casa satin
>have some coupons for regular priced fabric
>get fabric for Sailor Moon and Ryuko Matoi
>go to cutting counter
>"What is all this fabric for?"
>"Oh, just making some costumes..."
>"What are the costumes for?"
>explain to her what conventions are without dropping my spaghetti
>starts cutting the fabric for Ryuko
>What character is this going to be?
>Start to lose my shit
>"Uh... erm... well, she goes to school, and her uniform is blue..."
>that was the best I could make up on the spot
>proceeds to ask what character I'm making for every damn piece of fabric she cuts
>"That will be (price), have a good day!"

I don't know about you guys, but I hate it when people ask me what I need the fabric for because I just look like a fucking autist.
