Ok /cgl/.

I was just wondering. When you people buy these cutesy outfits of TaoBao/Aliexpress/Bodyline.. Like, not lolita outfits, I'm talking about the pleated skirts and OTK socks, or cute non-lolita JSKs, or just Asian fashion in general... Where the heck do you wear it? Just.. Everywhere?

Last year I got dirty looks for wearing tall socks with my skirt. And the skirt was almost down to my knees... I didn't really care, but.. It just made me think. I LOVE some of these outfits I've found off TaoBao, but is it really acceptable to wear overly cutesy and "different" things casually?
