I think you're certainly right about having more to choose from definitely helps in putting together better coords. I'm of mind that a closet should be harmonious in working together with lots of different items, as opposed to buying a certain set of items that is your 1 coord for x dress. I don't get people who shop for accessories by individual coord, for me things all have to work together or for multiple pieces.

But Arthael's coords drive me crazy for some reason... Even they're all technically well put together, they come off as trying really hard to me. Like that the coording was really painstakingly put together in a 'how will this look in the photoshoot I'm doing this for' attention-y way. I know nothing about the girl so this isn't a beef with her or anything, her coords and photoshoots just always come off that way to me...

I have similarly confused feelings about xyllia's coords where they're technically excellent but I just find it very boring and samey. The coords of hers I tend to like are usually ones where she's using a slightly different colorpallet from her usual jewel tones, like >>7212479 (damn you duplicate files)
