I have hella allergies, so I can't eat out at all.

At the con I rely a lot on nuts and peanut butter sandwiches. I also really like Bobo Bars, the fruity ones are really good and actually have decent food value (the non fruity ones are a bit too dry). I like bananas because they're easy to scarf down, even if peels are annoying.

I get a pack of something to shove in the microwave at the hotel for meaty food value at night. My current favorite are costco tamales. That of course only works if you have a minifridge or a cooler.
