Oh dear, I forgot where I was. On the boards I usually post on, you have to explicitly clarify when you're NOT using that word ironically. I've been using it ironically a lot these days.

You know what's even more fun? Using "triggering." Somebody says something you don't agree with? Shout "YOU'RE TRIGGERING ME" and pantomime an exaggerated panic attack. Some people get really angry if you say "YOU'RE TRIGGERING ME" when they express a political opinion you don't agree with. I don't understand why. It's all the same thing, isn't it? Who are they to decide what triggers ME?
