How hard is it to pull a black/offwhite/red combo? I've been terribly tempted by the Bodyline L394, even though I was hoping to start with something more serious, but I think I can make it work with white knee-highs, black teaparties, a black beret with a white headband and bow, a red bowtie ect. plus some homemade embroidered accessories to balance.

It's hardly a fully drafted coord, but do you think I could pull something like that off as a first real outfit? I've been interested in sewing and lolita for ages, but I refused to start until I could make it perfect...

Thank you! I ordered my first wig today (my real hair is nasty and thin, and would look bad with a lolita outfit), and a petticoat. I've decided to save my paltry income (disability/mental health benefits, eBay trading earnings) for this OP. I know it's super basic, but I want to start safe.
