I fucked up, gulls. I've been undergoing testing for what is probably cancer since May. It's been stressful to say the least, and I've let a lot of things in my life fall by the wayside since then.

I had a cardigan listed on Lacemarket in May and totally forgot about it. I haven't even checked LM since then. Well, I'm an idiot because someone purchased the listing months ago and I never even messaged them, sent out an invoice, much less sent the cardigan out to them. How can I remedy this? Just send them a message saying I'm sorry I messed up? I would be happy to just send them the cardigan for free, not even charge shipping or anything, because I feel like a huge dumbass for this. But I am not sure they would be comfortable even dealing with me as a seller seeing as I was absent for months.
