I keep coming back to ask about this project I'm sorry I'm just really nervous.

I'm making a maid dress (pic related) and somebody here said that as far as fabric choices any middleweight cotton or cotton polyester blend should work well and I wanted to pick a fabric out in person so I could see the color and feel in real life but Jo-Anns doesn't seem to categorize their fabric by weight and I don't know how to distinguish from feeling alone so would it be better just to order online from somewhere else that does specify or is there a way I can easily tell in person?

I honestly wouldn't worry about it but personally I would expect posing in character if it's a full body shot and like a 50/50 if it were a selfie.

Thank you for your response. I'm actually sort of unclear about what you mean white the white skirt. Like sewing the skirts individually and then attaching them as compared to somehow trying to sew both the white and black skirts at the same time?
