I'm just... so happy. I was just posting the other day in the comme thread how I've been struggling to make Lolita friends here. Every one was really sweet and I managed to get by ok with my limited Japanese. I was glad at the very least even if I wasnt wearing any of my coords my outfit was cute as hell today.

Rest of the family is pretty neutral on it. I've always worn odd clothes so they're pretty used to it. Probably prefer the frills to anything close to western Goth that I have.

My ma glares at it every time she walks past it, but I've kind of come to realize my dad has come to terms with the fact that he'll never cheer for me at a sports game, so instead he's cheering for me at my hobbies. Makes me really happy actually.

This was really nice to watch. I liked it a whooole bunch. Not being sarcastic either. The video was well made and the guy never made any snarky remarks and seemed to really understand the fashion and did his research on it which a lot of the time, outsiders don't normally do. Especially males.

I have got to say the research thing makes me the happiest and right off the bat he separated lolita from 'Lolita' which was amazing to hear. Im going to make him my favorite person of the day.

Ive generally a super inquisitive person and Im fascinated by things Im not a part of and VICE really helps deliver answers to some stuff I wonder about in different cultures.
