Unrelated to >>9789529 but this made me think - I recently won one of Baby's elastic strap JSKs from auctions, one of the designs they've rereleased recently, but only now noticed that the seller said they've bought it about 10 years ago. Normally I wouldn't mind at all because it looks practically brand new and the seller describes it as such, but what are the odds the elastic has still worn out over the years?
