I'm revisiting an old prop, Zelda's harp from Skyward Sword and having mixed results trying to fix it up (it was really lumpy before). Its just a slow sllllllllooooooowwww process of applying spot putty and spray filler and sanding. Anyone have tips for sanding really tight spots or another way to get the relief areas looking smooth? Uploaded fuckhuge photo so you can see the obvious lumps and whatnot.

It still looks good though, if you go on ebay or wherever and look at silk kimono (komon especially) the designs are usually kinda fuzzy around the edges depending on the style used to apply the design.
