Looking at old daily_lolita posts makes me a little sad and nostalgic. There was a very unpolished aspect to everyones post or coordinate. Now on CoF we only get to post 3 good photos at the absolute most, two good outfit shots and a makeup selfie.

Back then people would take a mirror photo, a self timer photo. Backgrounds were messy, photo quality was a little bit grainy. Even popular lolitas like Faunkegin who always took hi-res DSLR photos still didn't always look polished in every post.

We still have itas, we still have messy bedroom photos with garbage quality. With social media being mainstream now, the pressure to look perfect is heavier now than it was in the livejournal era.
