As with everything else, sand it until the surface is smooth. Lower grit for faster result. Higher grit for the final smoother finish.

I perfonally find sanding sponges (picrel) more confortable to use.

Dremels are fine when you have to remove big chunks of material, but when aiming for a smooth result chances are you are going end worse than you started by accidentally sanding too much.
