Talking with an Eve cosplayer for a quick minute about the character before he had to bounce. Dude was really friendly and clearly into the series into as much as I was once we started talking about what made the character so interesting and cool. Wish I managed to actually engage with other people like that but oh well.

Meeting up with an old friend was also super nice, even if we didn't do all that much but walk around. It's too bad the entertainment hall didn't have too many exclusives, because playing fighting games at anime expo just felt sort of dumb.

The homestuck gathering was as dumb and obnoxious as I thought it would be, but it was more fucking organized than the AX lines and really, really endearing in a juvenile sort of way. Bless the Terezi telling the group to clear a path for any and all passerbys, they really made an effort to actually not cause a fucking problem for anyone, which I think says a lot.

AX Dance Saturday night went really fucking hard, even if I couldn't get all that much into it. R3LL and Hyper Potions were both great.

Granblue merch selling out fast as fuck was a huge bummer because it was the main thing I was looking forward to getting.

The atrocious planning in some regards. Karaoke wait times of 2-4 hours is unreal, and I got dicked out of the Granblue panel because I didn't know there was a second line outside.

Not having enough time to do everything in one day, but I feel like I'm much more prepared for next year. Shame I didn't start going to cons earlier, because it's only a matter of time before I'm "old." Missed out on several gatherings and the artist alley.
