>There are too many requirements to be a Disney princess
>she wasn't tall enough
Height is like, the very first most basic requirement they have, more so than looks or personality at all.

RE your first part there, it's something that looks good on a resume, and there are plenty of positions that don't really require character knowledge, like cooking, hospitality, or a lot of the management stuff. People do DCP for a lot of reasons and I'm not going to judge people who can see it as a career opportunity more so than a chance to relive childhood every day. I knew/know a guy who built his photography business through his DCP in photopass and the contacts he made there.

When I worked there, they didn't even really like it if they (trainers or management) overheard stuff like "Oh, I'm a really close friend of ___" and while you may not have gotten an official write up, they might have had words with you. Some managers take Disney Magic really really seriously. I had a surprise review when I was Dug and got told off for sitting down, not because the costume could get dirty but because the bottom of my shoes showed and since they don't look like real dog feet on the bottom I could "ruin" the Disney Magic for some kid who somehow failed to realize that 5'4" dogs are uncommon and also do not stand on two legs and never blink.

Disney is quite progressive with hiring differently abled people, I knew a Character Attendant who was in a motorized chair (she was kind of big) and I swear I saw one person in a regular wheelchair working costuming. When I worked at DHS, there was a guywho was in charge of all the touchups to the hard faces of the heads and he had a messed up arm with like 2 fingers or something. Don't give up your dream if you really want it, Disney can see passion in people and they try to make it work when they can.

Here have a picture of me as Louie
