I have a question about mori fashion.

Personally, I love the layered earthy look. As a average-sized Caucasian girl, I'm afraid if I ever tried to dress in mori clothing, I'd look frumpy grandma. How does one avoid this while still looking cute in mori clothing? Also, mori related sites are greatly appreciated if shared!
