hey guys, i had a quick printing question.
the image on the left was done on my home inkjet with glossy paper, the right is from a hardproof of a small art booklet i'm getting done through smartpress. i chose 100# premium matte text paper.

i'm really dissatisfied with the quality of their printing, but smartpress doesn't seem to know what's going on or how to fix it.

i'm wondering if i can salvage it and find a decent middleground by choosing a different paper, or if i should back the fuck out and find a different printer?
