I wear himekaji and this was probably the strangest reaction I've gotten. I mentioned a bit of this in another thread a few weeks ago.

I've gotten swagfags and such hit on me before and I just ignore it but knowing that this guy was following me in a crowded mall freaked me out.

Yeah, I've used sock glue and it hasn't worked for me either. I heard somewhere they're mainly for cosplay so they can only hold up those thin costume socks.

I noticed I've gotten different reactions depending on what colors they are, as stupid as that sounds. Wearing darker colors, I get sneers from women and "hey babe" looks from guys around my age. The other day I wore pic related and white thigh highs. No stares from women or young guys or anything so I'm thinking this is a perfect combo. But as the day went on I got approached by a lot of older men. One man alternated between calling me "baby doll" and "princess" so I'm thinking this also side steps into DDLG/age playing. People associate dark colors with sexiness and lighter ones with innocence, I suppose.
