Imo a lot of the really amazing PoC cosplayers just arent shared around enough. People go viral for shit cosplays because if you pump out enough content your stats improve, and your photos are more likely to be seen. Buying cheap cosplays every week and pumping out content off that is a surefire way to succeed nowadays.

Sorry you have to go through that. I've seen it happen too when I was younger. Fujoshits 'shipping' irl people can genuinely destroy friendships, and forcefully out someone who may be questioning their sexuality. They honestly need to learn to keep their shit on the internet and be thots anonymously.
