It's almost time and I'm so excited.

I guess obvi besides the fashion walk on Sunday. Looking for another Lolita thing to attend over the weekend.

I hope this isn't too premature, but where do you guys usually stay for Comic Con?

After 5 years I was finally able to get tickets to go. I'm very elated to have the chance to go, but my excitement was soon extinguished after seeing the prices for hotels around the convention site. I was wondering if maybe AirNB offered better prices but the prices are ridiculous. I was wondering maybe if I got a hotel half an hour away it'd be cheaper but I don't know if there will be a shuttle nearby or if parking a car at the con is even possible.

Anyone willing to share experience on the matter?

I always wondered what is usually the best course of action for cons that sell out of badges/hotels within less than an hour (PAX, Comic con, Dragoncon)

Is it hosting multiple events, offer badge sell badges for future years at con, limit the number of badges one can buy etc? I ask as I'm not sure how other cons do this and it seems like if someone is new and wants to get in then they're SOL.
