Has everyone forgotten that the clearest time we saw Jadesprite was during cascade and she was a fairly light green? Not lime, but her hair was not Jake color either. This is probably why everyone goes light. Not canon, but understandable. The dark green would look pretty harsh on a white Jadesprite anyway, and most green ones use the dark color. Let's put this thing to bed.
