For Elise's hair, should I build bases out of foam and cover them in wefts? Also, what should I go about making her outfit out of? I was thinking pleather for more of an armour-y feel but I'm not super sure.

Couple questions about this cutie.

First, what material do you guys think this is? I was leaning towards some sort of pleather but I'm not sure. There are visible seams so it's not armour like I originally thought.
Second, how would I go about tackling that hair? I want to make it as accurate as possible and try to stray from defaulting to normal curly ponytail clips.
