What kind of paint do I need/how do I go about painting on 100% polyester? I want to throw pic related together as a last-minute thing because I have the prop bits done but no time to finish her proper outfit before a con, plus I just like the look.

Finding a tracksuit in black with white stripes is easy and it'd be okay in a pinch, but I'd like to get one and then paint over the lines so they're purple as in the pic. I just have no idea how to deal with it being polyester.
