How would you guys go about adding some designs to a wig? Not looking to dye to wig, just to add in specific designs like Earth chan or Jasdevi. Temporary hair spray, hair chalk, spray or acrylic paint, markers, badly cut out pieces of paper, those plastic sheets people use for Houseki No Kuni cosplay, and strategically placed wefts are all options I could think of.

The hair spray and paint seem temporary and easy, but make the wig look like a ratty crunchy mess. Marker and the hair chalk seem a bit time consuming and I've only seen marker used, plus I don't know if it'll be temporary in case you want to reuse the wig.
