I have one which is all metal, has shelves down the side and storage space on top as well as about 6" of space underneath that I stick my suitcase under. It's been in constant use since 2005, has had as many as 40 dresses/jackets loaded on the metal rail (I was double hanging them at that point, I have downsized a little since then) and is still going strong.
